Projection
Mapping

Projection mapping is the projection of video material onto a 3D surface. With software, we ensure that the video material seamlessly aligns with the object it is projected onto as if it’s wearing a digital skin. Then, you can make it look the way you want.
This technology was perfect for a trade show booth we created for Bruynzeel. Their wish was to showcase various new kitchen doors and handles, along with different combinations. However, it’s not practical to set up 20 different booths with unique kitchens. That’s where projection mapping came into play. Bruynzeel provided a simple blank kitchen, a perfect canvas for projection. Through projection mapping and an iPad with designs, trade show visitors could choose which doors and handles they wanted to see. These selections appeared on a blank kitchen as if the chosen kitchen was right in front of them. Visitors could mix and match and explore al options. Bruynzeel didn’t have to physically bring áll their different kinds of doors, handles, etc.
Projection mapping allows you to showcase a wide variety of products on a smaller surface or with fewer physical objects. The digital and interactive component of the iPad and the freedom of choice generated greater interest in this booth.
